Rome, Italy’s capital, the cosmopolitan city with years of influential art, architecture and culture on display. Rome is so beautiful with so many sites to visit and things to do; from the Vatican City, to the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church, and seeing masterpieces like Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel frescoes, it is simply a must go-to holiday. Here’s a special for you, a pasta and pizza loving trip with loads of cultural attraction- guide!
If you want to be like a real Roman, then have yourself a classic breakfast or a colazione. If you’re a coffee lover, get yourself an expresso, cappucino or a caffe latte. And if coffee isn’t really your thing then you must get an orzo, a nutty, decaf roasted-barley beverage that looks like but tastes better than cocoa. Along with your coffee or orzo, you have to get a pastry, a cornetto, crosatta, or even a doughnut. Go to any bakery or cafe and you are guaranteed to be filled up for your day of adventure.
Lunch calls for a calzone, margarita or any pizza extraordinaire! You have to check out these two places: “Pizza alla Palla” & “Il Pensere” . They are to die for !
Dinner, so that means pasta, well for us personally anyway. Go to a restaurant where they have everything you won’t get any fussy complaints. We recommend Al Moro, an absolute classic, the food is delicious and you will definitely find something you’ll love. Another of our favourite hidden treasure is Trattoria Vecchia Roma. Check both out and you will not regret for sure !
